Established in 1971 by Frank Yavorski, Sr., whose experience began while repairing airplanes for the U.S. Navy during WWII, AIRMET Metalworks has fabricated metal products in various industries including chemical, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and textiles, to name a few.  In 1979 Frank was joined by his son Stephen. They worked side by side, with Frank imparting all his metallurgy experience to his son along with the strong work ethic which ultimately became the foundation of AIRMET’s reputation.  After many years of collaboration, Frank retired at the age of 69. For the next 15 years Stephen honed his craft and expanded the company’s boundaries way beyond his father’s wildest dreams.  Armed with his father’s half century of information and 25 years of his own experience Stephen has taken AIRMET to its highest level: exclusive, artisan crafted offerings of the most extraordinary quality and design.
